Client Responsibilities & Policies

Reaching Wellness is a partnership; we can not make the journey without you! Therefore, there are responsibilities and policies that you, as a client, should be aware of in order to honor the studio space and to show your commitment to Wellness.

  • 1. Respect The Tech-Free Zone - please turn off all cellular phones and PDA devices, or leave them in your car. In addition to causing stress in our lives, these devices also emit electronic waves that draw on our energy. Give yourself the time to recharge.
  • 2. Arrive On Time - This will give you time to settle in, perhaps enjoy some water or tea, before your treatment. It also insures your treatment begins at the appropriate time, respecting those who have treatments after yours.
  • 3. Give 24-hour Cancellation Notice - It is OK if you need to reschedule your appointment, however, if it is not an emergency, please call 24-hours before your appointment. This shows consideration for your therapist as well as other clients. Cancellations made within 24-hours of treatment time, and are not emergent, will be billed for 50% of the scheduled treatment.
  • 4. Respect For Boundaries - Massage therapists at White Sage Wellness are professionals dedicated to providing massage & bodywork services for health and Wellness. Any advances, innnuendo, or physical contact of a sexual nature will result in termination of the session (with full payment), and potential termination as a client.
  • 5. Tipping/Gratuities - Tipping is accepted and greatly appreciated. If you wish to tip your therapist because you were highly satisfied with your treatment, then please do so. However, the most important thing is to receive the benefits of massage on a regular basis. If this is your goal, please put your tip towards your next treatment!
