Making the Most of Your Experience...

There are some simple things you can do to get the maximum benefit from your treatment.

Plan a day of rest - The last thing you want to do after a treatment is help your neighbor clean out his basement. Try to clear the remainder of the day after your treatment for rest and reflection. Take the time to enjoy how your body feels, to get proper hydration, and to allow your mind to experience the increased flexibility of your muscles.

Keep your mind in the present moment - During your treatment, focus on your breath and the sensation in your muscles and tissues. Keep in the present moment - don't think about the errands you need to run or the list for the grocery store. This time is for you.

Communicate with your Therapist - Massage Therapists are intuitive creatures but we do not know what the pressure feels like to you. Please communicate to us any time during your treatment. Whether you would like more or less pressure, a temperature change, or a change in the music, making your session the most comfortable for you is our goal.

Ask Questions - Are you curious about a certain type of massage or bodywork? Is your home promoting your Wellness, or harming it? Are there Wellness Products you can incorporate into your life, and maybe even help your friends and family? Let's make the goal of Wellness a partnership - ask questions and we can find the answers together!
